Simple and classic with a slightly modern twist. This beautiful solitaire features a cool natural, unheated storm-blue sapphire weighing 0.44cts. Handcrafted in 18K Treasure Gold (made with 400 year-old shipwreck treasure recovered from the 1622 wreck of the Atocha), the simple hexagonal setting meets a beveled 2mm band for a clean and modern look.
This particular sapphire was rather tricky to photograph. It tends to shift color a bit depending on the light source and can range anywhere from a greyish-blue to a a bluish-green to a light blue. I've included a collage of pictures that shows this range, but have also included a video which hopefully shows the gem most accurately in outdoor light.
